Salvation is for all: Jew, Gentile, rich or poor, free or bond, God calls you. Protestant, Catholic, devout Jew, Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu, secularist, hedonist, atheist, Satanist, Mormon, Jehovah Witness, God calls you. He calls you now—now is your time to respond to the God of salvation and the true message from heaven which is Jesus Christ and Him crucified: God sent His Son into the world to die on a cross to offer atonement for the sins of humanity.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
—John 3:16
God commands all men everywhere to repent (Acts 17:30).
Christ said to repent and believe the Gospel which means the good news (Mark 1:15).
“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”
—Acts 4:12
Christ is the only Saviour. Turn to Him and turn from your sin. God is real and Jesus Christ is coming back soon.
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
—John 14:6
Who can become a Christian? Anyone who is willing to come to the Lord, repent and be saved. How do you do it? A simple step of faith: belief that God is real, that Jesus died for you on the cross, turn to Him, and away from your sin, believe that He hears you and receives your sacrifice. Open up your heart to the Holy Spirit’s conviction in your life, commit to change and start to walk in obedience to the truth as you begin to walk in your new-found faith. The Lord will do His part to save you, help you, lead and guide you. If you are serious, so is He!
“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”
—Hebrews 11:6
Ask the lord to help you find a strong Bible-believing church, start to read the Bible (King James Version is recommendable), and pray to Him often. Tell him what is on your heart; He will listen. He wants to save you and guide you in His will on the path to eternal life.
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
—Romans 10:9
We are saved by grace through faith, not of works. Christ stands ready to forgive the sins we have committed. He only asks for true faith and repentance. There is no room for self-righteousness:
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast.”
—Ephesians 2:8-9
“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.”
—Mark 16:15-16
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
—Romans 10:13
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
—Romans 10:9
Turn to Christ today. Let Him wash all your sins away. Begin a new life in Him and you will never be the same again.
